We have completed a key upgrade at the Golovinski production facility and quarry (Ukraine). This marks an important step in ensuring stable and scalable supplies of Golovinski Labradorite — a premium natural stone known for its distinctive black-blue effect — to the European and U.S. markets.

What has been commissioned

  • Pedrini multi-wire sawing line (72 wires) — increased cutting productivity and improved consistency in block processing.
  • Pedrini polishing line — expanded finishing options (up to 6 surface types), high-grade polishing quality, including solutions with resin treatment and back mesh reinforcement.
  • Fully integrated production cycle (quarry + factory) — ensuring predictable quality and batch-to-batch repeatability.

What this means for our clients

  • Systematic extraction of Golovinski Labradorite blocks for large-scale architectural and infrastructure projects.
  • Capability to work with large formats, including blocks suitable for producing slabs and products exceeding 3 × 2 meters on a regular basis.
  • More reliable lead times, reduced risks related to batch variation and unexpected surface quality issues.

Deliveries already in progress

The first batches have already been shipped, including container deliveries. Availability of Golovinski Labradorite is being expanded for:

  • The European market via UGRAN, including stock and availability within Europe.
  • The U.S. market through selected partners and distributors.
